The D7 Valve has improved inflation/deflation speed compared to the C7. It has an improved clamping method, with an ‘O’ ring seal added to the valve core.

Acetal (POM) plastic parts give high strength with chemical, ozone and shock resistance.

The seal is designed so that it cleans the seal surface as it operates; this reduces the risk of leakage due to dirt contamination.

The D7 valve has a shorter, smoother internal profile than other valves making it ideal for smaller diameter tubes, for example – inflatable kayak floors.

The Hard Seal variant enables it to be safely used in the manufacturing of drop stitch products, having a mesh in its internal profile that keeps threads, fibbers and other substances away from the valve's mechanisms.

The valve needs minimum maintenance.
It should be kept clean using household detergent solution
Solvents should not be used on the valves for cleaning.
For long term storage they should be kept away from dirt and solvents.
Length of storage before installation should not exceed 5 years.
